When you start your art journey, there's a lot you don't really expect. Art being a place of refuge, a happy place, or even just for meditation, or exploration; it's very concerning when it turns into something destructive. How to survive in art, is how to survive in life. You need to practice resilience and strength. Work will constantly be criticisized and examined and it's important to keep your ears open. Your eyes will guide your hand to make the work, and other people can show you how to improve. Be confident, passionate, and open. That's the first way to survive in art.

To be an artist is to learn how to make something out of all the experiences you have.

Throughout my years of being an artist. I've gone through the stages. At first you show everyone because you're so excited. But then opinions come, and suggestions. So, you start to hide your sketchbook, trying to keep your talents to yourself to develop yourself privately. But then, it turns into fear. At one point, I nearly didn't share my art with anyone.

The cure is above. By taking time to see and hear, you learn better. The rude comments will help you get better at defending and standing up for your work. And the critical comments will help you to see your work with different eyes. Find new ways to see yourself so you can grow. And of course, it helps to have supporters. People who just love your work for being yours. Each and every part is a learning experience. Continuously learn.

New project!

I've been gone for a while but I have a new creation to reveal! An ARTxi kids section featuring a very young photographer. I love encouraging the youth and this one I have taken under my wing to teach
